North West Wales Junior League - Round 2

After the huge success of the pilot! and such a high demand for more badminton we finally found a date in the diary for round 2 of the North West Wales Junior League. The 5th of July 2025 was settled!

The format of the day remained similar to the Pilot, with 3 strong divisions consisting this time of 1 more team despite being out of the official season for some clubs! AMAZING!!

Results

Division 3 saw some amazingly tight games with 8 of the ties resulting in a draw. After the group of 5 came to an end Great Orme 2 and Llanfairfechan 1 came out on top both with two wins and two draws.

Division 2 with only 3 in the group had Prestatyn 1 come out on top with Vardre 2 following close behind in 2nd, and BangorMenai 2 finishing out the group.

This leaves division 1. Also with 3 teams, BangorMenai 1 and Vardre 1 came out joint number top after a very tight group leaving Great Orme 1 in third place.

Conclusion

Overall another fantastic morning full of fun competition. It is always a pleasure to see not only how well everyone played but also the amazing sportsmanship shown by all. See you all on the 30th of August!
